I have neglected my blog over the past few weeks due to the fact I have been so busy. This is the first of 16 posts that I have to write, so that gives you an idea of the number of shoots i have done. I met a lovely stylist who is studying at Southampton Solent Uni a while back and had agreed to collaborate on some shoots. Her final major project is based on Menswear trends, which is great for me as I have shot very little in terms of menswear.
We started with a commercial high street spring/summer trend and decide to shoot this in studio. For a change I was shooting at the Solent Uni Studios which was a welcome change. Lots of toys to play with in terms of lighting, however I went for a very simple set up.
We had two models and Haylie had quite a few looks to get through. We wanted to the attention to be on the clothes so went for a simple white background which with my lighting came out a subtle light grey.
These are a few of the images shot in the session, you get the idea of the style and look of the images. We used some sheer material to put some colour and movement into the some of the images and I think it looks quite striking.
You can commission me to shoot images like these either in studio or on location, for more information check out my commercial photography.
