Professional Agencies

These are a list of agencies recommended by The Association of Model Agents. These agencies have to adhere to their code of practice and as such much safer to work through. There are many agencies out there who are looking to make money off you without even getting you work. Check out the AMA website for guidance on starting as a professional model and getting signed.

Model Networks

As with any career, experience is everything! Gaining experience is easy enough to do if you have the right attitude and commitment. The website below are all Model Networks, where you can set up an online portfolio (Free to an extent) and get in touch with photographers, make up artists, hair stylists and designers. You will be able to gain experience in the area of modelling you are interested, on a Time for Pictures basis (TFP/TFCD) you may also be able to pick up some paid work along the way. As with any networking site, air on the side of caution as there are some bad people in the world. Look to take chaperones to shoots, and be very firm with you are and are not comfortable with.
