I was contacted by my stylist and good friend Nicki, to shoot a look book for her new on-line store. I love shooting with Nicki, as her styling is brilliant, she always comes up with something different and out there. (Keep an eye out for the Leopard!)This shoot was quite the team effort; we were shooting at her old premises before she closed them earlier this year. For this shoot there was two models, a make-up artist and hair stylist, as well as yours truly and Vintage queen, Nicki. We arrived at her store around 9.30am to find Nicki tweaking her rail of clothing for the shoot.Once the models both arrived, they were straight into hair and make-up, vintage inspired of course, however we wanted more than the standard victory roll and red lipstick. The range of outfits in the shoot was quite diverse, pieces selected from many different decades, and styled together in harmony.I was also asked if we could produce something for Instagram. I’ve done some behind the scenes videos before, however never in the Instagram square format. The other restriction is that you only have 15 seconds to fit in your footage and images. Through a combination of IPhones and my camera we managed to capture the shoot to give a taster.Anyway enough waffle from me, check out the images, I’m really happy with how these turned out, cant wait to see them being put to good use. What Alice Found now has a new home at the Bournemouth Vintage Emporium, pay them a visit to see what she and the other sellers have to offer.
