Last Tuesday, I was at Wokefield Park Hotel in Reading to Photograph the annual Induction week of DLA Piper solicitors. I covered this event last year and arrived on a misty morning to conduct a group shot of 100 people.
The group of people were very receptive and followed my instructions very accurately. Without too much encouragement they were happily in place for the group shot outside the hotel. The shoot was quite rapid and I was finished within 15 minutes, which I feel is pretty good given the amount of people to organise.
I stayed around for a brief while to photograph them mingling in the hotel before they went back to the presentations.
Here are a few photos:

For the past few weeks, I have been working with a new Fashion Boutique called Bel Amour. They opened last Wednesday and are located in Park Gate, just off junction 9 of the M27 in Hampshire.
I was recommended by a friend who is working on their website, to photograph the collection they currently have. I was delighted to do this as it is something I have wanted to do for some time. The brief was a simple background, with all the attention on the beautiful garments. So a few weeks ago, armed with three models (Stephanie, Veronika and Rachael) and a Make up artist (Amy) we set too, and created some images to be proud of.
Joanne, owner of Bel Amour, came along with all the garments and was on hand to give her opinion as the shoot progressed. We completed the shoot and images were completed ready for the website.
Here are a few of the images, and I can honestly say I am very proud of them.

The Boutique is now open for business, so if you want something a bit special and unique, why not go and have a look. Shop is located on Botley Road, Park Gate.
Yesterday I had a studio session with Charlotte Barnes. She is a dancer and model who wanted some shots for her portfolio. It was her first studio session and we were fortunate it was in a studio as it was raining very heavily for the whole time!
We did some head shots and more fashiony full length shots. Charlotte really came into life when we did some dance shots. Without any hesitation she sprang into life and was jumping and ballet dancing round the studio. Very impressively too.
Anyway enough talk, here are some of my favourite images from the session:

I was asked a few weeks ago to take some portraits of Stephanie, and I finally found a free slot to get her into the studio. I didn’t want them to loose the fashion edge that all of my recent work has had, however this was in no way a fashion shoot.
Stephanie is about to embark on her own photography career at university. These shots are for her personal blog/website. I will look forward to seeing what she produces over the next few years.
Anyway without any further a due, here are the images:

This is a great example of a simple studio portrait session. It is very relaxed and takes no more than 45 minutes. If you would like to book a portrait session for yourself or somebody else, get in touch by the contact section or call me on 07590 901488.
I recently complete a website for the Rainbow Cake Company based in Locks heath. As part of designing the site, I offered to photograph some of the cakes for marketing purposes. So we decided we would start with some cup cakes.
Not only are the cakes stunning visually, they are very tasty too:

You can order these stunning cakes from The Rainbow Cake Company by calling 01489 584281. Delicious and reasonably priced.
Early on Sunday morning I was on the beach with Model Vicki bee. We were creating some images for her portfolio and were aiming for some images that were more intense than the previous shoots.
Vicki was a fantastic model, it was only 8am when we were shooting on the beach, so we were able to get some good shots in the sand before it got busy.
Here are some of the images from the shoot:

Monday morning blues, not for me. By 10am I was on the Beach with Stephanie Bevington. I wanted to produce some images a bit different to those previously published on here. After being in Southampton at the weekend, I had seen lots of Hollister bags around and thought it would be good to do something along those lines.
Stephanie happily obliged with the shoot and we got there nice and early. I had hoped for a non-sunny day, normally this would have been nuts to go to the beach, however I wanted moody lighting and when we did arrive it was actually raining. Perfect! Not only was the light great but there were very few people around.
We worked in the sand dunes and then down on the main beach. Stephanie showed how good a model she is once again, and within an hour I had so many good shots, it made choosing very difficult. Following the beach we headed back to the studio, and did some shots there. They will be posted at a later time, when I have had time go through them.
Here are some of the images from the beach:

More will follow, when I have had time to sort through them. If you would like a shoot like this, it wont cost you the earth. My session fee is only £50. Prints prices vary depending on size, or you can order a disc with Internet ready images or full resolution printable images. On Wednesday I was in Emsworth to photograph a model called Stephanie. I was particularly looking forward to this session as I had been trying to work with her for some time. The chance came up and so we headed down to the meadows by the sea.
Wearing a stunning Sherri Hill dress, Stephanie very quick showed off why her portfolio is so good, and why its difficult to get time with her. It was effortless, she just looked and posed brilliantly.
The resulting images are fantastic! I really enjoyed this session, and hope its the first of many.

There is more to come from this session, check back in the next couple of days.
Last night I had studio space booked for a shoot which was postponed, fortunately Veronika, was able to step in and fill the time set aside.
We aimed to produce some girly and light images. I decided to try and use something I haven’t done for a while; Bubbles. Also as a bonus I had the talents of the lovely Amy Tomlinson as a makeup artist. She is also a good photographer, so nice to have someone else around to assist!
Here are some of the shots from the shoot, there will be some more to follow!

I will have some more images posted on here in the next couple of days! Feel free to comment underneath! If you are interested in a shoot like this, please get in touch via the contact section or call me on 07590 901488.
I have a shoot coming up for a boutique and so decided I would do some fashion images to get into the swing of things. I used one of the best models I have worked with before called Veronika.
We spent a few hours just trying different poses, different lighting, and different backgrounds. Veronika also came very prepared with an assortment of outfits!
I am very impressed with what we produced, I am now ready for the boutique shoot and thoroughly looking forward to it!
